Southside Animal Hospital
Dr. Jim Phillips was born in east Tennessee but grew up in Panama City, Florida. He earned a degree in Chemistry at Mercer College in Georgia. He moved to Gainesville, Florida and is a Class of 1988 graduate from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Phillips moved to middle Tennessee in October of 1992 and established Southside Animal Hospital shortly thereafter.
Dr. Phillips welcomed Dr. Tobe Singleton to Southside Animal Hospital in 2003. She is a native Tennessean and a 1998 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. In her spare time Dr. Singleton enjoys ballroom dancing, motorcycling and tracking training (search and rescue) with her labrador Tilly. The new puppy in her life is a Boston Terrier/Pug mix named Ferris.

Dr. Steele
Dr. Lindy Steele joined our staff in May 2008. She is a native Nashvillian and a 2007 graduate of University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Steele loves going to the dog park with her dogs, Bailey and Tanner.
Dr. Courtney Stumb
Dr. Courtney Stumb joined our staff in June 2010. She is also a 2010 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys shopping, hot yoga and noodling with her IPad.
